When/Where: Sunday 29 September – From 8am – Alexandra Parade

By joining a beach clean up you make a direct positive impact to the Ocean by removing trash before it can cause harm to marine life and the health of the Ocean. Join the Sunny Coast Marine Debris team to clean up the top of Alex Headland.

We will be meeting near the Korean Veterans War Memorial/HMAS lookout. There are stairs which lead down to either Mooloolaba beach or Alex Heads direction and plenty of park and walkways to clean up before the toxic debris makes it’s way to the Ocean.

Where – 278 Alexandra Parade, Alex Headland (Top of Alex Hill)

When – Meet at 8am for a short briefing, clean up until 9am, sort and count debris until 10am

What to bring – Please bring a hat, re-usable water bottle, bring gardening gloves if you have some, we have a limited supply. We will provide bags. Please be SunSmart and wear enclosed shoes for your safety.

This event is family friendly and a single-use plastic free event.
