What: Sunset & Full Moon Paddle | The Kindness Collective

When/Where: Saturday 14 September – From 4pm – Ocean Addicts, Cotton Tree Park

Description: Come and enjoy a beautiful Sunny Coast sunset and watch the full moon rise with us from on the water next Saturday at Cotton Tree!

We’ll be aiming to get out on the water by 4:15pm and head for a nice paddle up Cornmeal Creek to Sunshine Plaza for sunset, before making our way back to the Maroochy River and setting up on the island to watch the moon rise at 5:42pm.

Bring your own board or kayak if you have one, or we’ll also have boards available for hire from Ocean Addicts for $25. Beginners welcome and encouraged to attend, and a short lesson will be provided if needed. Description: Dust off those dancing shoes and say good bye to those winter blues! Full Moon Dance is back for a massive spring banger on September 14 with Caravana Sun, Highlife, Dub Zoo and Dj Roland West! REFRESHMENTS Unleash your free spirit and get caught up in the sound waves…and when you need a breather the Verrierdale Hall will have food and beverages available. All proceeds go straight back to the community so we can continue upkeep this amazing venue. This is licensed event – Over 18’s only.

Description: Bring your picnic rug to Park Sounds – a fabulous afternoon of free live music in Dick Caplick Park Eumundi. The September line-up features: The RUMBRELLAS are an explosion of funk, soul, reggae and hip hop, spearheaded by lyricist/guitarist Ryan Giles. They have a sound of groove-heavy beats, infectious melodies, coupled with intelligent, positive and conscious songcraft. Their live performance experience is undeniable, and the style/sound they all truly love is the groove of old school hip hop.
