Miraculously, Tommy is back on Australian soil after surviving the marathon and has a cracking story to share.

Tommy Little is the most exciting comedian of his generation. His comedy bubbles with an irresistible energy – bursting to tell you the next story. What: Ceramic Hand Building Workshop

Syndicate Creative, 9 Golf Street, Maroochydore, Queensland

Saturday 24 August 2019 3:00pm – 4:30pm

Description: Create your own hand-built ceramics at this workshop presented by potter and teacher, Bree-anne Jeffrey. Perfect for beginners and those new to pottery, across a blissful 90 minutes you will learn to create your own hand-built cup or planter.

Please be sure to wear enclosed shoes. All materials, firing and glazing is included. Held over two consecutive weekends, the first session will see participants create their ceramic masterpiece, and return the following weekend to glaze the piece.

Participants will need to collect their work approximately two weeks after the workshop once pieces have been fired.

What: Gympie Music Muster

Where/When:

Amamoor Creek, Gympie Area 22 – 25 August 2019

Description: Muster is a four day festival in a camping village in the Amamoor State Forest on the edges of the Mary River Valley not far from the town of Gympie.
With a focus on country and the music that is made there, they also make sure that everyone is involved, from boot scooting mornings to poetry cocktail hour readings, smoko songwriting sessions and lazy arvo blues guitar jams, so at the Muster, you feel like you belong.

The final week in August sees the hoop pine valley come alive with the campfires, stage lights and camaraderie. Effectively run by 1500 local community volunteers, the Muster makes music not just for the four days, but resounds with a regional social impact that lasts at least until next Muster.

Description: There will be loads of free family fun at the massive combined 30th Birthday for The Wharf Mooloolaba and SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th August.

The huge weekend will include plenty of free activities as well as kids go free deals at SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast *conditions apply.

The free activities include a giant super slide, face painting, jumping castle, reptile display as well as free stand up paddle boarding and kayaking at Sunreef Mooloolaba, free river cruises with Coastal Cruises Mooloolaba as well as aerial skills acrobat displays from Just Acrobatics.
