Nambour Outdoor Movies – ‘Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory’Willy Wonka

Join us in Quota Park Nambour for a screening of the candyman classic flick ‘WILLY WONKA & THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY’ on Saturday 20 October. This is a new date after rain postponed the Oct 6 screening.

Come early to get yourself a spot and set up your blankets and picnics, in preparation for the screening to start around 6.30pm(ish).

Entry to the movies is by donation.

The screening is a fundraiser for Thriving Families Nambour, who will have a BBQ, snacks and cold drinks for sale on the night.

A big thanks to supporters DownTown, Carolans First National Real Estate Sunshine Coast, Sunshine Mitre 10, Nutrition Asylum, Sprinkles Nambour and Marty Hunt MP – Member for Nicklin.

The world is astounded when candy man Willy Wonka, for years a recluse, announces that five lucky people will be given a tour of his factory, shown all the secrets of his amazing candy, and one will win a lifetime supply of Wonka chocolate.

Nobody wants the prize more than young Charlie, but as his family is so poor that buying even one bar of chocolate is a treat, buying enough bars to find one of the five golden tickets is unlikely in the extreme.

But in movieland, magic can happen.

Charlie, along with four somewhat odious other children (a glutton, a spoiled peanut heiress, a gum fanatic and a television fanatic) get the chance of a lifetime and a tour of the most fantastic, eccentric factory imaginable.
