Let’s have a look at some activities you can do around the Sunshine Coast this weekend!
There is no other zoo like Australia Zoo! We pack in stacks of wildlife action every day and there are always plenty of exciting wildlife shows to see.
For tickets message our travel shop on their Facebook page and they can organise your entry ticket plus your ticket on the bus. Facebook name: Bwt Noosa Carolina
You can always find live music along Ocean Street in Maroochydore. Solbar is one of the most popular spots to stop and enjoy music, have a cocktail and of course something to eat.
La Canteena is a beautiful little Mexican restaurant on Ocean Street that has really exciting lunch and dinner specials. My favourite is the Sunday $5 menu. Don’t forget to try a cocktail while you’re there!
Cotton Tree Markets
If you are looking for something to do on Sunday morning why not have a look through the Cotton Tree Markets for a gift, survivor to take home or for something delicious to eat.
Explore the Wharf at Mooloolaba Beach
There are so many things to see and do at the Wharf Mooloolaba!
There are a lot of restaurants to try my favourite is Riceboi!!! The most delicious food I have ever tasted!! You can also spend some time at Sea Life Aquarium. The seal show is really entertaining along with the walk through tunnels where you can see the sharks and other sea life swim over your head. Scary!!
Mount Coolum is an awe-inspiring volcanic dome that presides over the Sunshine Coast landscape. Climbing to the top of this 25 million year old laccolith is a must-do when visiting the region – the views from the top are absolutely spectacular!
Cotton Tree – Light the Night
Let’s light up Australia for blood cancer.
We can’t wait to see you at Light the Night. We will come together and transform the darkness into a sea of glowing light to beat blood cancer. It’s your night to walk beside those facing their own blood cancer journey, and to remember loved ones lost.
But it’s more than that – it’s your time to help raise vital funds for urgently needed blood cancer research. Register now and your reserved lantern will be ready for you to pick up on the night at the event.
