Today’s activity was soccer in the Park. Both teams played well with alot of students joining in on the action in the Cotton Tree Park.
Such a great way to spend a beautiful winters afternoon here at the Sunshine Coast!
Off to great places…
On Friday Dionne and Jonathan farewelled their EAP students who had studied at Lexis Sunshine Coast for the last three months. Most of them will start their new chapter of learning at the University of the Sunshine Coast. We wish all of you the best of luck. Please stay in touch! Intermediate and Upper Intermediate classes also said their Good byes to Dan who is returning to Switzerland and Candice who is going back to France – too soon! We will miss you!
Friday also saw our students spend the afternoon on the balcony with a sausage sizzle and beer! What a way to finish a busy week!
Thursday nights at the Duporth Tavern are one of the most popular activities on the Sunshine Coast for Lexis Students.
With a free drink on arrival and free tacos from 8-9pm whats not to love?
Last night a few celebrations were had, a birthday party surprise for one student Ari and a farewell celebration for our second group of EAP students!
We even had got our own little magic show by one of our new students Ben!
It was a great night had by everyone, can’t wait for next Thursday!
Today I found students in our new coffee, cake and conversation workshop with Annette and our jobs workshop with Simon.
Both workshops are a cool way to meet new students, speak english and learn some new skills that will make your time here in Australia a little easier!
Workshops are held at 2pm on Tuesdays
