Tribal Travel have just released a brilliant new special for mega yacht Ananconda III.
The Whitsundays and the Great Barrier Reef are at the very top of most students “to do” lists while they are travelling in Australia. And here on the Sunshine coast we’re lucky enough to have both of these attractions within easy reach.
Ananconda III is one of the best sailing boats available in the backpacker/student market. Reaching a massive 101 feet in length, there’s plenty of space (and shade) for everyone. It has fantastic dive and snorkel options, and is proud to show off some of the worlds best dive sites. Delicious meals are prepared daily on board the yacht, and the licensed bar provides refreshments throughout the day.
At Tribal Travel, we put a large percentage of our customers on Anaconda III, and we receive excellent feedback.
So consider this special price, as it will never again be as cheap to visit these stunningly beautiful areas of Australia. Just see Kayley from Tribal Travel on Tuesday and Thursday lunchtime if you would like more information.
The Sunshine Coast Library is running a “Design-A-Card” competition for the new library card. Marius from the FCE class submitted his entry into the competition and is in the running to win! If you would like to help him get there you can vote at http://library.sunshinecoast.qld.gov.au/sitePage.cfm?code=design-a-card-vote
His cute Koala design is number 7 so put your vote in!
First of all, we would like to say well done to all the students who undertook FCE and CAE classes last year and secondly, congratulations to all the students who passed. We are very happy for you!
A special mention goes to Lukas Fritz who need an A at FCE and achieved it in order to become a pilot, and to Eva Born, who achieved an A at CAE level. As if that was ever an issue, “You Go Girl!”
Best of luck to you all.

Soccer stars were spotted in Cotton Tree Park Tuesday afternoon as GV students headed out into the sunshine for a friendly game. Soccer sure is the world game – students from Japan, Taiwan, France, Brazil and Saudi Arabia all joined the fun.
Monday afternoon seemed like the perfect afternoon to cook pancakes! With a huge turn out students were kept busy mixing and flipping pancakes for fellow classmates.
Luckily the recipe is the worlds easiest – you can try it at home!
To make 6 pancakes mix together:
1 cup of self-raising flour
1 cup of milk
You can add some sugar and vanilla essence for extra flavour.
Mix all ingredients together until smooth.
Cook until golden brown on both sides.
Decorate with your favourite toppings – jam, golden syrup, cream, ice-cream, chocolate, strawberry topping and EAT!!!
It’s Australia Day on Wednesday, and everyone will be having fun in the sun.
If you’ve not yet made plans for the day, then pop into Tribal Travel to get some ideas. The weather forecast is reporting a sizzling 30 degrees, and your options are endless.
There’s surfing, kayaking, river cruising or jet skiing, to name a few. Or hop on board the Boomerang Hinterland Tour to swim in rock pools, see waterfalls and check-out the famous Eumundi Markets. If all these ideas seem a bit energetic, take it really easy and chill-out in Cotton Tree Park or Maroochydore main beach.
Enjoy your day off school!
